Synopsis
In the wasteland fortress known as “The Summit,” Sloane Mercer has been the frontline guardian for three years. Using her psychic powers to build powerful walls, she protects the fortress from countless threats.
But to company boss Miller and ruthless bully Sterling, Sloane is nothing more than a disposable worker. They throw her out without a second thought, even after she watches her loyal apprentice, Rico, die.
They think they have gotten rid of a lowly mechanic. They have no idea that Sloane is actually the core system of the entire fortress.
When Sloane activates her revenge mode, her golden-red eyes awaken. She is no longer the fortress’s protector. She becomes the Queen of the Hive, commanding countless predators across the wasteland.
The walls she built were meant to keep the zombies out—but now they will also keep her enemies trapped inside.
If this world has no place for humanity, then Sloane will become its ultimate judge.
