Synopsis
Kane Valler was twelve when he became Ceraven's Dragon Knight. He swore to protect Princess Isolde — and he kept that oath with blood, battle, and soul. He climbed cliffs, fought dragons, laid every victory at her feet. He gave her everything. But Isolde was bound to Lem — her attendant, her guilt, her blind spot — and she chose him again and again. Until Kane's heart finally died. He traded all his honors for a marriage contract to a princess he had never met, and walked away from Ceraven for good. Only then did Isolde realize what she had lost. She chased him across the continent and crashed his wedding, begging him to come back. But it was too late. Beside Kane stood Leona — a woman who gave him what Isolde never did: the simple, quiet act of truly seeing him. Kane had found his redemption. And this time, he chose to stay.
