Synopsis
Lily Harper, a 19-year-old village girl, is sacrificed to the sea god Kael to appease his anger over declining marine resources. Instead of being devoured, she becomes his financial manager, untangling centuries of chaotic ocean accounts, patents, and territorial disputes. As Lily modernizes Kael’s realm—introducing reports, contracts, and legal correspondence—he evolves from a detached deity into a cooperative partner. Their professional collaboration deepens into mutual respect and love. Lily temporarily returns to her village, reaffirming her bond with family, but chooses to stay with Kael. Together, they address real-world issues like shifting fish populations and water temperatures, bridging human and divine worlds through dialogue and data. Kael learns to share power, eventually adopting the title “Kael, Sea God Office.” Their journey culminates in a wedding celebrated by all sea creatures, symbolizing a new era of governance, trust, and shared purpose.
