Disowned for being unable to shift, Layla Rosen is poisoned with silver by her stepsister Serena, leaving her blind and rotting. The poison awakens her ancient Wolf Ancestor bloodline. Four years later, she returns as the Wolf Queen, disguised as a blind violinist. At the engagement party, she cripples her cheating fiancé Darian and seizes the Clyde fortune. At the succession ceremony, she reveals her identity, crushes Serena with her bloodline, and gouges out her eyes. She exposes her stepmother Coralie's affair with Ironclaw leader Hashim, reveals Serena is his bastard, and with Mark defeats the Ironclaw army, ultimately ruling the entire underground werewolf world.
