Synopsis
A jaded Chicago subway driver, Kate, notices a mysterious woman in a blood-red dress waiting on the same platform every Friday at 11:47 PM—but she never boards. When Kate breaks protocol and steps off her train to ask, “Do you need help?”, she unlocks a thirty-five-year-old secret: the woman, Eleanor, is waiting for a fiancé who vanished on that very spot. But the truth is a trap. Police records point to suicide; a hidden letter screams “I’m not enough.” Yet Eleanor whispers, “I saw hands push him.” As Kate digs deeper, she unearths a fake closure, a possible revenge plot, and a contract of silence that has kept a killer free for decades. Every stop becomes a gamble. Every red dress is a clue. In the end, Kate must decide: break Eleanor’s fragile illusion—or become her heir in a waiting game that may never end.
