Synopsis
Alan White, a reclusive Archmage one step from Grand Magus, descends from the Misty Mountains to fulfill his master Merlin's last wish: marry Sophie Black, heiress of the Black family.
Arriving in Los Angeles, he rescues Sophie from an Anderson family ambush. They spend a night together—she leaves him money and walks away. The next day, Alan arrives at her door with the marriage contract. Both identities are exposed.
To escape forced marriage to Arthur Anderson, Sophie agrees to a contract marriage with Alan. He goes undercover as her chauffeur. While enduring public contempt, he secretly uses magic to dismantle assassination plots and corporate attacks.
As the Andersons escalate, Sophie discovers Alan's hidden power. What began as a contract becomes real love. Finally, Alan reveals his identity as Archmage and head of the White household. He crushes the Andersons, saves the Black Group, and shocks all of Los Angeles.
