Synopsis
Five years ago, Evelyn, from the slums, was chosen by Adrian, a wealthy young man from New York, to be a surrogate mother to give birth to Chloe. However, after the child's birth, she was stripped of her maternal status and forced to remain at Blackwood Estate as a live-in nanny. For five years, she silently memorized Chloe's every habit, ailment, and fear, only to be repeatedly humiliated, forced to kneel, confined, and even distanced from her daughter by the nominal wife, Lillian. Chloe, however, instinctively relied on Evelyn, the one who truly cared for her, clinging to her through repeated crises of illness, fear, and abandonment.
