Synopsis
In the 1980s, Kather Shaw, a long-haul driver of three kids, wakes post-accident to find she is the disposable ex-wife in a period novel. Her husband drains her savings for a hypocritical widow, dooming their kids to bleak futures. Refusing to yield, she grabs a wrench to fight back. She beats the manipulative mistress, knocks sense into her blindly loyal husband, shields her bullied daughter, rouses her love-struck elder son, tames her spoiled boy. She rewrites their doomed script for a happy ending.
