Synopsis
Rock singer Alice and record heir Stephen were lovers, until an attack after a show killed Stephen's sister Grace while protecting Alice. Blaming Alice, Stephen tormented her for three years in the name of "atonement." Alice hid her late-stage throat cancer and even helped arrange his wedding to heiress Kelly, collapsing and vomiting blood at the ceremony. Stephen then discovered a recording revealing Kelly as the true culprit. Devastated, he burned everything and embarked on a path of redemption. Six years later, now a homeless man searching for her, he finally sees Alice again at Grace's grave—she has a new life and family. He can only watch her leave through tears, his remaining years left to regret.
