Synopsis
Maya, a studious girl, agrees to help her crush Connor prank Harper. But Connor ties her up with zip ties and covers her in fake blood. Harper, terrified, beats her with a steel chair, breaking 17 bones. Maya survives after three months in ICU but is disfigured. She rejects settlements, testifies in court, and gets Harper jailed and Connor imprisoned. She moves away, rebuilds her life, and studies psychology and law. Connor spirals into madness. Maya moves on, scarred but unbroken.
