Synopsis
Childhood sweethearts Nina Jones and Leo Castellano were supposed to marry. Nina loved Leo for twelve years, yet Leo gradually took sides with Chloe, who mocked Nina under the guise of jokes. On their wedding day, Leo publicly slapped Nina over a quarrel with Chloe. Nina threw away her ring and called off the wedding. Though a regret‑stricken Leo later tried hard to win her back, Nina refused to reconcile. Supported by her parents, she moved to Manhattan, pursued a design career and embraced a brand‑new independent life.
