Synopsis
Mortal Lyra offers her heart’s blood to save Caelan, the Elf King, forging a soul contract that helps him ascend the throne. Seven years later, to marry his savior Seraphine, Caelan cruelly forces Lyra to sever the contract, breaks her right leg, and strips her of everything. In despair, Lyra flees back to the human world, only to discover that her family business has been taken from her. Leaning on a cane, she returns to the business world and launches her counterattack. Meanwhile, Aster, a moon deer in human form, remains faithfully by her side, healing her wounds with devoted love. When the Elven Realm collapses amid betrayal, a repentant Caelan follows her, only to die protecting Lyra—and the truth behind the contract’s backlash is finally revealed: to sever the contract was to sever a life. In the end, Lyra lets go of the past and chooses to embrace a new life, love, and hope with Aster in the human world.
