Synopsis
All Evelyn wants is to graduate from the Magic Academy. Unfortunately, she’s the weakest witch in her class, and no dragon wants to become her familiar.
Then she meets Opal.
He has horns, wings, claws, and a tail, and unlike every other adult dragon, he can’t even fully transform into a human. Evelyn thinks she’s finally found the perfect match: one “defective” dragon for one hopeless witch.
When Opal starts showering her with magical crystals, rare treasures, and suspicious amounts of attention, Evelyn assumes he wants a contract but has no idea how to ask. So she finds an ancient book and patiently teaches him the ritual herself—sing to your chosen partner, dance together, exchange magic, and seal the bond.
Opal follows every step perfectly.
