Synopsis
Lilian, an orphan living under someone's roof, is forced to submit to Patrick, heir of a San Francisco wealthy family, to save her seriously ill grandmother, becoming his dependent. The obsessive and affectionate Patrick fell for her ten years ago and is extremely possessive. The family arranges for Lilian to marry the gentle Marcus, second young master of the Mason family, and her stepmother, overbearing sister, and Emily, the fiancée falsely posing as her lifesaver, bully her one after another. Amid the tug-of-war, Lilian struggles to escape Patrick's control while uncovering the truth of who saved whom back then and the old secret of the murder of Patrick's mother, sinking deep into entanglement amid love, family shackles, and revenge.
