Synopsis
Orphaned Claire is taken in by her aunt Jenny, but instead of finding a home, she spends years being exploited by Jenny and her family. To make matters worse, Jenny's husband repeatedly harasses her.
With nowhere left to turn, Claire impulsively marries Evan, a cold and distant CEO with whom she once shared a single night.
Claire assumes their marriage will never last, but as they grow closer, Evan's tenderness and devotion slowly win her heart. And eventually, Evan discovers the secret Claire has kept buried in her heart for eight years.
