Synopsis
Eve marries dream researcher Adam, only to discover he uses a helmet to enter her dreams every night—he found her through her “beautiful dream” signal and became addicted. After Eve confronts him, Adam stops and instead uses his technology to help trauma patients rewrite nightmares, healing a nine-year-old girl named Lily. Eve shifts from “the one being watched” to his supporter. They attempt “shared dreams,” baking bread together in a dream. Adam has lived for centuries but chooses to “root” beside Eve. Ending: they sit on their balcony, drink tea, grow roses, and record ordinary days—finding eternal tenderness in repetition. Core: stealing dreams is loneliness; sharing is love. The one who no longer needs a device to enter dreams has learned to wake up in reality.
