Synopsis
This is an urban short drama about women's awakening and mutual assistance, with a total of 35 episodes. The story centers on Kelly Moreno, the wife of the Chicago North Suburban Police Chief, and her sixteen years of suppressed and controlled marriage. During a high school reunion, she joins the women's mutual aid organization "Sisters", gradually breaking free from the cage of a submissive housewife. Using her position, she helps women trapped in domestic violence and harassment, and eventually breaks up with her husband to regain her independent self. She goes on to establish a women's emergency shelter for those who have nowhere else to turn. It is a story of self-redemption and of illuminating others-a journey from a silenced wife to a woman who gives other women a voice, proving that awakening and mutual aid can shatter even the most comfortable of cages.
