Synopsis
Lainey is humiliated by her fiancé Leo at City Hall, who marries pregnant Rosalie for power. She flees to New York, marries Don Falcone Marcus, and becomes his cherished wife and mother of their son. Five years later, back in Chicago, Leo and Rosalie mock her, steal her bracelet, and slap her. At Marcus’s gala, they attack her again. Their son Gable cries out for Mommy—exposing Lainey’s identity. Marcus arrives, enraged. Rosalie stabs Lainey, then dies. Leo is captured. Lainey discovers Marcus secretly loved her for years. They reconcile deeply.
