Synopsis
I was twelve when the apocalyptic flood struck. Each family was granted only three spots on the Ark. I was chosen by lottery, but my parents ripped off my boarding wristband and gave it to my sister Daisy.
They had always favored her. I’d hoped fate had finally picked me, yet they abandoned me once more. They lied that a second ship would come, claiming I could swim. As the flood swallowed me whole, I realized there was no second ship at all.
