Synopsis
Married for four years, Su Qingye's husband Zhou Yan had always ordered her milk tea with "no tapioca pearls." But recently he repeatedly got it wrong, ordering "double pearls," and even bought a cake containing ingredients she was allergic to—while his female subordinate Lin Xi's social media posts showed the exact same items. Checking the bills, Su Qingye found her husband had bought milk tea for Lin Xi seventeen times in three months, confirming his emotional infidelity. She decisively divorced him, ended her pregnancy, and threw herself into her career. A year later her ex-husband went bankrupt after Lin Xi sold company data, while Su Qingye became a career elite, moved to Shanghai, adopted a cat, and traveled freely. The story uses a cup of milk tea as a metaphor for a deteriorating marriage: only by leaving those who drain you can you become your own support.
