Synopsis
Author Hayley's husband Ryan plays an annual April Fools' "dare" game with his childhood sweetheart Summer. This year he tricks Hayley into signing an annulment, then marries Summer. Hayley loses her baby in a miscarriage while Ryan abandons her; she takes her copyrights, goes independent, and her career soars. Ryan repents and confesses publicly; his company collapses and Summer goes insane. In the end: on another April Fools' Day, Summer attacks with a knife, Ryan says "this time I lost," and Summer breaks down crying.
