Synopsis
At sixty-seven, retired nurse Eileen learns that her daughter has been abused and coerced into signing a demolition agreement, while her son-in-law steals the $120,000 compensation. Determined to fight back, Eileen teaches herself the law and rallies her neighbors to form the “Magnolia Grandmothers,” advocating for fair compensation. She also helps her daughter escape years of domestic violence and ultimately establishes a legal aid center to protect the rights of elderly women. Transforming from an ordinary widow to a fearless advocate, Eileen proves it's never too late to stand up for oneself and others.
