Synopsis
New York socialite Sofia, to repay her family's huge debt, is forced to marry Sean, whose heart belongs to his first love. After the marriage she suffers cold treatment and is even arranged by her husband for an outsider to bear his child. In despair she meets Sheldon, a top-level family patriarch disguised as a bar waiter, and signs a million-dollar monthly contract to take revenge on her husband. The two grow close day by day, and as Sean and his scheming first love harass Sofia repeatedly, Sheldon protects her forcefully behind the scenes, staging an endless urban domineering-president bitter-sweet romance in Manhattan.
