Synopsis
Helen Morrison, a night shift parking lot attendant in Chicago, notices a mysterious woman named Elaine leaving a quarter in the same tire track every 3 a.m. She discovers that Elaine is hiding from her abusive ex-husband, using the coin to check if he has found her. The two form a bond and establish a mutual aid society to help women facing stalking and harassment. As their movement grows nationwide, Helen confronts her decade-long wait for her missing father, while Elaine breaks free from her trauma. This story highlights female solidarity, redemption, and how small acts of courage can illuminate the darkness.
