Synopsis
Clara Sterling, a brilliant Manhattan book restorer, spends fifteen years quietly mending priceless manuscripts for her husband Richard — who passes her flawless work off as untouched originals to build his fortune and his name. Armed with a homemade invisible ink formula, she hides her signature in every piece she restores, then detonates the truth at a landmark auction, exposing years of stolen credit in a single stroke. Rather than accept a quiet settlement, she turns her fight into a movement, lifting every “invisible” restorer out of the shadows and reclaiming the respect their craft has long been denied.
